There exists great trauma, off the shore of Amsterdam.
The city of culture and normalcy has surely unpoisoned the sea,
with tales of foreign conquest and domestic strife as lucid as
the briny gusts from Norway.
God may not smile as much here, in Scandinavia,
as may be the case in sunkissed southern Sicily.
His affection is thought to be paid in golden raindrops;
not the type that freeze in mid-leap before drowning streets in flashflood.
But it is well known that love takes many forms,
and blessings are both truth and love.
Thrust back invasion and root out such malice
before folly swallows your Amsterdam.

There are billions of types of people in the world - don't ask me to classify all of them.
